New Hobby

I have a new hobby. I am making jewelry! I took a Jewelry and Beading class at Joann Fabrics (I will be taking two more) and it is so much fun! So far I have only made bracelets and earrings. I need to buy more beads if I want to make necklaces. I will NEVER go to Michaels to buy anything again...RIP OFF! Walmart has some cool beads though and they are cheap...$1.88 for a bag of about 24 beads. I need to go to some local bead stores to see how much their beads are...get some unique ones for necklaces. I also want to make anklets. The other two classes I will be taking will teach me how to make more intricate/fancy stuff.

I made this for my mom. I forgot to take a picture of it when I finished stringing it...I also made matching earrings for it.


I can't wait to make more!
